Eoin Cannon

Eoin trained at the Gaiety School of Acting, Dublin, before crossing the water to study Musical Theatre at the Guildford School of Acting in the UK. Eoin’s first casting was the Tin Man in “TheWizard of Oz“ alongside Ken Dodd in The Hall for Cornwall.

On returning to London he was chosen by Trevor Nunn to appear in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “TheWoman in White“ at the PalaceTheatre in the West End. In his time with the Original Cast he played the lead role, Walter Hartwright, alongside such musical theatre greats as Maria Friedman, Michael Crawford and Michael Ball.

After Eoin’s West End debut, he very proudly performed as lead vocalist with “Riverdance” on their European Tour. On his return to Dublin, he was cast in the Irish premiere of “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change!“. Following this, he moved back to London where he played the Beast in “Beauty and the Beast“ European Tour.

Since his return to Ireland Eoin has been busy across the country playing such roles as Frederick in The Pirates of Penzance, Jekyl / Hyde in Jekyll and Hyde, and the title role in Michael Collins, a musical drama for which he received rave reviews in the Cork Opera House and the Olympia Theatre, Dublin.

Eoin recently recorded his debut solo album, “Love’s Never Lost”. A selection of Irish songs which are close to his heart. Some old classics mixed with some unknown gems. This album will be available after the performance. But for now he asks you to sit back and enjoy the show.

Eoin is represented by Julian Benson Management.
