Cal began dancing at the age of nine attending Scoil Rince Mona Ni Roddi where he quickly progressed to open level, qualifying to the Worlds at the age of 13. At the tender age of 16, while still attending school, he was accepted into Riverdance Flying Squad.
In 2003 he joined the Riverdance troupe for the biggest lineup of dancers ever at the opening of the Special Olympics in Croke Park. Cal was also part of the highly successful show ‘Irish Thunder’ in Busch Gardens, America. In 2005 he toured Taiwan and Japan with Riverdance before moving to America to become lead principle with ‘Emerald Beat’. Cal’s dancing career has taken him all over the world, performing on many continents and he is very excited to be back in Ireland performing with Celtic Rising – The Show.
